Early Cardiac Diagnostic System (CARDX ECD) SOLUTIONS |
…Bionetek are working together to provide clinicians with a fast, accurate, and simple means of detecting Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) in the early stages of the disease – when it is easier to treat. Using the AMREL MD’s notebook computer and a specially designed Data Acquisition (DAQ) module that integrates directly inside the CD-ROM bay, Bionetek is able to collect patient data from 12-lead EKG and process the signal at the point of care, producing a diagnostic result in less than 2 minutes. This incredible software application is called the CARDx Early Cardiac Diagnostic (ECD) System, and it is in clinical trials at UC San Diego in an Angiography study and at UC Irvine in a Multidetector Computed Tomography study.
